Doing Things Differently
Being open to questioning the depth of conditioning we've received by living under systems of oppression is essential to creating a more inclusive and equitable world. Ask yourself: "How could this be done differently?" and expand the perspective that's present.
Compassionate Change Making
I'm a believer that sustained change happens from a place of compassion, introspection and giving grace to those who choose to repair the mistakes they've made. Cancel culture and shaming are not practices I will ever advocate for.
Professional Playfulness
I appreciate that the nature of this work can be heavy on the heart, so who said that we can't have fun whilst getting the meaningful work done too? While laughing fits and Oodies aren't mandatory, they're highly encouraged to have an awesome client experience working with me!

I'm choosing to share the intersections of my identities because it's important to acknowledge my own proximity to privilege & degree of marginalisation - as this will naturally impact the way I work with my clients and lead my community as a whole.

Here at Mai-kee HQ, I specialise in Sustainable Visibility® practices which means that together, we'll focus on amplifying your work from a place of safety first, strategy second. In other words, we go inward for the answers to customise the external strategies we'll implement.
Visibility without protection can be harmful to both us, and those we're impacting.
That's why we must acknowledge our proximity to privilege to assess the spaces that are safe enough for us to share our messages and stories.
And if there's just ONE gem o' wisdom I could share it's the fact that you have to honour your capacity to be consistently seen.
